Lodging in our villas<\/span><\/p>\n

Full-time bilingual-naturalist guide. Full transportation (4×4 vehicle)<\/span><\/p>\n

All meals, snacks, and drinks included (no alcohol)<\/span><\/p>\n

We have 6 full days to do activities. We can Ride (Half or Full Day) or we can do other activities like Rafting, Canyoning<\/span>, Rappelling, Nature Float, Tubing, Caving<\/span>, ATV\u00b4s, Hikes, among many other options.<\/span>
\nWe also visit<\/span>: hot springs, frog farm, waterfalls, local markets, Coffe tours, animal rescue centers.<\/span>
\nWe have many rides around the Ranch and we have other destinations where we truck the horses: Cloud Forest Ride, Arenal Volcano Ride, Pe\u00f1as Blancas River Ride, Bosque Ulima Ride. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everything (but Gratuity for the Guide and souvenirs) is included on our Full Trip<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 1<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nYour Centaura leader will be right outside the terminal to meet you, and you<\/span>
\ncan fall asleep in the 4×4 as we drive, or you can start bombarding him with thousands of questions. So it will be an easy day, driving across the mountains.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 2<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nToday we will pick out the horses you want to ride on your trip and try out different saddles<\/span> until you have your favorite all picked out.<\/span>
\nThe horses are very well trained, and even inexperienced riders quickly gain<\/span>
\ncontrol of their mounts. We\u2019ll spend a good part of our day riding around our farm.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 3<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nEarly in the morning, we head to a special project we love naturalist people<\/span>
\nto experience\u2026 Our Frog Sanctuary.<\/span>
\nWe can spot them quite often here…. the brilliant green and black Harlequin, the red and blue Bluejeans Frog, and, most ornate of all, the shy,<\/span>
\nmulticolored night tree frog — bright blue stripes and bright orange toes and<\/span>
\neyes on a lime green body.<\/span>
\nAfter the frogs we will ride on the banks of Pe\u00f1as Blancas river, great open areas to run the horses, trails in the middle of a primary rainforest.<\/span>
\nOnes we are done with the ride we will take you to the hot springs.<\/span>
\nWe especially like this spring because it is a favorite of local people, not crowded, and the sounds of the jungle compete with the waterfall noises, something so tranquil that you feel like melting chocolate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 4<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nToday we let the horses rest.<\/span>

Day 5<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe San Carlos area is full of local horseback harvest festivals, call<\/span>
\nCabalgatas. We don’t know where it will be yet, or how many horses, but we do know it will be the memory of a horseman’s lifetime.<\/span>
\nWhole families atop one horse, and the raw energy of country people<\/span>
\nenjoying an old-fashioned hoe-down kind of celebration.<\/span>
\nIn case we do not find a Cabalgata, we will take out of the Ranch for a superb ride.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 6<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nRiding at Centaura Farm.<\/span>
\nOur ranch (2800 acres) starts at 360 feet above the sea level. The higher elevation we have at the ranch is almost 1100. Imagine the trails and the<\/span>
\namazing views going up.<\/span>
\nWe will make a stop by a swimming hole to cool off in pristine clear water before <\/span>riding back to Centaura.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 7<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nToday we take you to the cloud forest ride.<\/span>
\nWe will ride down on primary cloud forest, amazing plantations and villages. Horseback is one of the most amazing ways to see the forest. Let the horse<\/span>
\nwatch his feet while you, relieved of the need to watch your footing, can keep your eyes focused on the splendor of the flora, and spot a bit of fauna<\/span>
\nas well.<\/span>
\nThen because you have earned it, there are hot springs.<\/span>
\nThere\u2019s a private place with no buses, no signs, and only a few people<\/span>
\nenjoying the hot water and hot water waterfall and fresh fruit drinks. <\/span><\/p>\n
